-
What will we be doing? This workshop includes bilateral drawing for emotional processing, guided self-reflection and group discussion, somatic practices for nervous system regulation, and immersive exercises for grounding & regulation
-
How does this workshop support healing and well-being?Bilateral drawing is a therapeutic art technique that engages both hands simultaneously, activating both hemispheres of the brain to support emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and self-awareness. In the Compassion Fatigue: Restoring the Heart Center Workshop, this technique is used to help individuals experiencing compassion fatigue release stored tension, process emotions, and restore a sense of balance and inner harmony. By engaging in gentle, rhythmic movements, participants can reconnect with their heart center, fostering self-compassion, renewal, and emotional resilience. Combined with mindfulness practices and nature-based creative expression, bilateral drawing becomes a powerful tool for restoring well-being and reigniting a sense of purpose.
